Isabel Marant- Tunic

This gold and black tunic is highly detailed, and it's quite interesting, but I don't care for how it was made into an outfit. The bottom is too short, and I would have probably made this into a caftan, or paired it with longer, tighter shorts, in order to give it a more balanced look. I also would have tried a very skinny belt with it, although I can't say whether I would have kept it or discarded it.
Isabel Marant- Tent Top

It's hard to make a top that is so baggy, yet so pretty. This one actually succeeds, and yet, the outfit still fails. I am not pleased with the paint splatter skirt, and I especially hate that it has pockets. These are too baggy, and they make the whole outfit look like it's a plus size garment. That top over a pair of tight capris would have been exceptional.
