Simon Alcantara Elongated Chain Necklace
While I'm waiting for fashion week to sort itself out, I'm continuing with the jewelry and accessories.
This necklace by Simon Alcantara is so interesting. Along a very thin band, you have many dangling chains. Overall, it creates sort of a scarf type necklace, which is a very interesting concept. That's the thing I love about Simon Alcantara. The pieces are always so graceful, but they really play with the whole concept of jewelry in ways that a lot of other designers don't. And yet, they are also totally wearable. Well, assuming you can afford it. This necklace is $4475, which is a fairly hefty price tag, but it's worth it.
