Pendant Lighting- Hot Air Balloon Pendant

This hot air balloon pendant is terribly clever. It would be very cute to put in a circus themed room for a little girl. Certainly it's not the type of lamp that will capture her attention throughout her entire childhood, but while not help your children get the appeal of imagination while they are still young?

Pendant Lighting- Bowl Pendant

I've never been a big fan of this style light. There's just not enough that's interesting about it that I would spend $45 on it, as opposed to any other pendant. Furthermore, the white and brass is just DONE! Each one is dull on its own, but together just makes me cringe. I would have preferred to see this in a brushed silver with a medium grey bowl, and I would have preferred that the bowl has a few interesting details about it as well.

Pendant Lighting- Opal Pendant

This pendant seems to be a milky white at first glance, but upon further inspection, you realize that it has other colors underneath, much like an opal or a moonstone. It's exceptionally beautiful, and the kind of stone that not many people will really appreciate the first time they see it, but upon subsequent glances, they will really marvel over it.

Pendant Lighting- Small Tiffany Pendant

This small Tiffany pendant is fit for someone who like the Tiffany look, but does not want the area to be overwhelmed by it. The rod is adjustable, so you can make it any height you need.

While the tiffany style still isn't my favorite, I think this piece is much more bearable than the others. In fact, I'd prefer several small ones of these over a pool table, rather than a larger size.

Pendant Lighting- Fire Pendant

This pendant looks like fire, or a volcano that has cooled a bit. It's a stunning piece, and for art glass, it's really rather flexible, as far as the style of home it would work in. I'd put these above a bar so that it follows the line of the bar. For a more vivid and bold look, put twice as many and stagger them above the bar.

Pendant Lighting- Blue Waves Pendant

This art glass pendant light looks like something done by a Japanese painter, who painted the sea. It's a beautiful light, and although I don't believe it would go well in many homes, the ones it would work in would be absolutely stunning.

Pendant Lighting- Helix Light

It's been several years since the helix look went out of style, and I still can't look at it without feeling a little sick to my stomach. It was on EVERYTHING for a while there. ESPECIALLY lighting.

If it has to come back, this is at least a decent use of the helix look. It's not on matte black, which is sooooo tiresome. Also, it's got a square shade, which is a departure from the round that used to be favored. Finally, the helix part is stretched out, rather than being more rounded. This gives it a little distance from the earlier appearance of it.

Pendant Lighting- Peony Pendant

Again, I'm not so fond of the tiffany light, but I think the shape of the shade helps a lot. The problem with almost all tiffany lights is that they are fairly indistinguishable. You get stuck on the fact that it's a stained glass shade, and the pattern seems to be irrelevant.

With this light, you really have some room to play. I would recommend using it in a second living room or den, and if possible, wiring it into a window seat area. Surround it with bookcases, wicker furniture, and the only other ceiling fixture should be a ceiling fan, with the large leaf shaped blades. The more you go for a comfortable Southern setting where it looks like someone will bring you an iced tea, the better this light will work in the room.

Pendant Lighting- Panama Mini Pendant

This Panama mini pendant is very interesting. Its pole does seem to have a tropical sort of look, as if they took cane and dipped it in metal and attached a light. It's a very simple light, and you'll certainly need to do a grouping, but it's classic enough that it should go with almost any decor.

Pendant Lighting- Mini Square Pendant

This mini square pendant is cute, but because of it's size, it's going to be necessary to cluster it with several lights. For a very unique look, you might need the services of someone skilled in cutting pipe and wiring, but this would look really interesting in a large cluster. For example, place about 12 of these, staggered at all different heights, over a kitchen bar. I've seen the look, and it's an amazing, funky, yet classy look that would definitely make the area stand out.

Pendant Lighting- Basketball Light

This basketball light is a great addition to any little boy's room. The imagination present in this light is just amazing, and I'm glad that somebody is really thinking of some unique and creative ways to bring light into a room. It's very easy to picture the look on my son's face if I added this to his room.

Pendant Lighting- Two Light Pendant

Most pendant lighting only has one light that hangs from a single pole. But it's lights like these that bend the definition, without crossing over into the category of "pool table light".

This two light pendant would look great over a small bar, or even a dining table, but I think my favorite setting for it would be to have a long straight kitchen bar with one at each end, and a single similarly styled light in the middle. It would have a very modern look, and because of the curves, it would gently flow above the bar.

Pendant Lighting- Lipstick Lights

These lipstick lights are crazy cool. Don't they just resemble a tube of lipstick?

There are not many homes that can pull off a light like this. And the few that can probably already have them. It's not the type of light that I recommend someone buy without the help of a designer, because they are SO unique.

Pendant Lighting- Amber Draped Pendant

I often talk on my fashion blog about architectural clothing, which almost seems to resemble something that an architect built, rather than a designer. This amber draped pendant is the opposite. lol

The way the shade drapes over the light has the look of a woman's skirt. It's like a very plain, yet elegant evening gown. Imagine the top part where the bulb screws in as the hips, and you can very easily picture the rest of the skirt.

I can easily imagine this light in a very "fashionable house", but I'd love it much more in an elegant little clothing boutique.

Pendant Lighting- Tiffany Pendant

This tiffany pendant is again, not my favorite, simply because it's the Tiffany style. That being said, there are a very differences that make it much more bearable than the typical Tiffany style lamp. It's a much darker style, and it uses that to its advantage. Tiffany lights tend to be very happy looking, and seem like they would only fit within an old Victorian house. This one however, goes for the darker look. It's more the look of a Victorian that hasn't been fully restored. I kind of like that, because it has a lived in look to it. Second, the opal panels are beautiful, and they provide a great deal of interest. Third, the leaf like patterns that support the shade seem to fit very well with the style lamp. Any other Tiffany lamp, and it would be too depressing.
