Ultimate Shine Solid Shampoo Bar


The Ultimate Shine Solid Shampoo Bar is one of my most favorite products from any store anywhere. It is a solid shampoo, which is going to throw a lot of people for a loop. I mean, all girls especially have been told that we should NOT, under any circumstances, wash our hair with a bar of soap. It's too hard on it, and we should use shampoo and conditioner. Well, that's fine. This is not a bar of soap, although you can use it as one. More on that in a minute.

You simply get your hair wet, rub it two or three times, and it works itself into a nice lather. The shampoo will last pretty much forever. I actually cringed when I got one as a gift, because I already have one, and I can't imagine needing another for the next 4 or 5 years. :) It puts a few sparkles throughout your hair supposedly, but I've never noticed them. What I have noticed is amazing enough. 1) I have never needed a conditioner with this. 2) My hair is unbelievably shiny. No, I mean really, REALLY shiny. It looks so clean, but it didn't strip any color from my hair.

Some people don't care for the scent, I personally don't care. Now for the added uses. Say you're going on a trip. You want to pack your favorite shampoo, but you are worried the bottles will leak or break. So you buy little travel sized bottles and dump the shampoo and conditioner in there, and then you still pack them in a ziploc. You still need to pack some soap, and also leave space in your luggage for dirty clothes. Now, imagine this instead. You get this bar and put it in the Lush tin made for it, or at least someplace other than where you put your toothbrush. You use it to wash your hair, body, and even your clothes. And it never leaks on anything. Sweet, huh?
