Dyson DC15 Animal
I wrote an article a while back where I reviewed a Dyson DC15. About 2 months after that, I purchased one for myself (the one I reviewed was my mom's), but mine was a Dyson DC15 Animal. The difference between the two is that The Animal is more suitable for houses with pets.
A few other quick thoughts- I have vacuumed over the most unspeakable horrors, and this vacuum has eaten it all and asked for seconds. I own commercial property and right after a new tenant signed the lease, I vacuumed the entire space. This is over 1800sq ft., and it had not been vacuumed in about a year. There was mud, dirt, plaster, LOTS of bugs, hair and other nasties. It sucked every bit of it up. About halfway through, I noticed that it was losing suction, which if you know their commercials, it isn't supposed to do. So I unplugged it and turned it over to see what was wrong. What was happening was that the wheels couldn't even move because the roller was SO covered with hair that it had stopped it. I got it open and thought I would have to mess with the belt and putting the roller back on. That's when I got the shock of my life. There isn't a belt. The rollers pop on and off, and it's made of two pieces that separate from each other. I took it off, cleaned it up, snapped it back together, and it performed perfectly.
Right now, as I was typing this, I noticed that my daughter had crushed a red crayon under her rocking chair. I have white carpets. Let me repeat- white carpet, red crayon. I vacuumed it up without any problems. I can't even begin to describe the love I have for this vacuum, and every woman I've talked with that owns one loves her just as much.
