Vases- Mikasa Flower Vase

This vase hasn't been released yet, but it will be soon. I like how the vase itself is reminiscent of a flower itself. It's not too heavy-handed, but very subtle. I love it. Then again, Mikasa is always so pretty.

Vases- Wedding Vase

I always have such a hard time with this sort of vase. It's pretty, and I love home decor items that look unusual, or wacky in a given situation. But I still can't shake the feeling that if I got a big stand vase like this one, it would look like a funeral spray. It's pretty, but come on! If you put this next to your bed and lay there, it's going to look a little morbid. Not pretty.

Vases- Handblown Vase

I have such a hard time believing that this handblown vase is such an excellent price. I mean, I've seen someone do glassblowing. I've been interested in doing it myself, but I know that it's REALLY dangerous as far as art goes. One of my friends once told me about a professional glassblower she knew who badly burned himself while making his art. So, it's rather intense, and I know the sort of time and skill that goes into this. And at this price, I feel like I'm ripping them off.

Vases- Dragonfly Vase

This dragonfly vase is really pretty, and I like the natural sort of look to it. It is a wall mount vase, or wall pocket as they are sometimes called, so you should be aware of this. I have always loved wall pockets, because they free up a lot of room that I might otherwise need on bookshelves.

Vases- Butterfly Vase

This butterfly vase is so pretty! It's not overly done, but very simple. The clear glass is really pretty, but the butterflies add so much to it. I wish that they were more scattered throughout but this is pretty nice too.

Vases- Arbor Vase

This vase from Z Gallerie is one of my most favorite vases ever. As soon as I saw it, I was baffled. Look closely. There are no walls. How can you have a vase without a container?!!? This lets you thread the flower stem through the sticks, and the shallow base at the bottom holds just enough water to sustain the plants, but not to interfere with the appearance. I am completely stunned by the amazing appearance.

Vases- Magnetic Vases

This set of bud vases is magnetic, allowing you to hang it on the refrigerator. I think that would bring a really beautiful style to an appliance that isn't typically known for being beautiful. This is really a smart idea, and I like it a lot.

Vases- Scroll Wall Vase

This vase would have been much more in style a few years ago, with the strong shabby chic look that was in style. Now? Not so much. It seems pretty dated, and I think everyone is so tired of the shabby chic look.

Vases- Hinged Bud Vase

This bud vase is really unusual. It is hinged so that it can rotate around. This hinging will allow it to stand up on its own. I like it, but I wish it had a little better style. A brushed silver would have been prettier, and accomplished the same thing. Bamboo would have looked cool. I just don't care for the heavy iron looking elements on this one.

Vases- Bowed Glass Vase

This bowed glass vase is quite beautiful, and very unusual. Most glass vases tend to be the cut crystal type. You know? The typical glass vase, like you'd find from Mikasa. But the clear glass here gives it a modern edge, and when combined with the shape, it makes for a really atypical look.

Vases- Flowerhead Vase

Isn't this vase cute?? While I can't exactly claim that this is my style, I have to admit that I'm sucked in by the retro cool look of it. I can picture this in a very retro looking kitchen, with an antique stove, a diner table, and black and white floor tiles.

Vases- Blue and White Vase

I love this blue and white vase. The colors have a very traditional look to them, but the shape and the blue stripe down one side give it a little bit of an unusual flair. It's a cool piece, and it would be just perfect for a home decorated with the blue and white toile that was so popular a few years back.

Vases- Bamboo Floor Vase

This floor vase is shaped like a large piece of bamboo. I think it's a very interesting look, and it would work well in a home with an Eastern design. The only problem is, I'm afraid it would easily be lost among other pieces in the home. Especially since it's a floor vase.

Vases- Versace Vase

Leave it to Versace to come up with something like this vase. Frankly, it's beautiful. Absolutely stunning. But it's also going to be really impossible to fit into any home that isn't littered with white marble. I think I'd give this one a pass.

Vases- Handblown Red Vase

Wow! What a beautiful vase. The thick, clear glass base and the upper red, almost metallic part work really well together, and the look is amazing. Furthermore, this is handblown, so it's going to be just a little bit different than any other vase anywhere.

I like this very much and I think the price is just right.
