HA! What a crappy movie. See, in sci-fi books, there is a material that is called "unobtainium". For those who can't bother with their dictionary, that means you can't really get ahold of it. And this movie uses the same term. In fact, the whole plot depends on it. Go to the center of the Earth and jump-start the core. The amythyst scene was pretty, but the rest of the movie was freakin' worthless.
